Making two night jumps on my one year mark in the sport (and getting 17 whuffos to do their first tandem that afternoon)
Jump #200 on 12/31/00 at Skydive America - I was on my belly while Rook, Orion, Roger, Rico, and Bill docked on me while headdown
Anytime someone goes low on me
9-way tube out of the SDC Twin Otter (Thanks to the insistence of RachieSue)
Jumping from the Bell 412 at Quincy while doing a demo on a PD reserve
Actually, now that I think about it, they are all memorable

About Me:
In the real world I am an Executive Recruiter spending my time looking for Senior Level Direct Software Sales and Technical Pre-Sales folk - and occasionally I look for software programmers. Plus I have been known to fix the occasional computer.

My Skydiving Story:
I originally ended up at Skydive Chicago for my first tandem when my cousin organized a "First Jump" day for her clients and was kind enough to invite any family members to join in (a group of 44 people). It was a terrible
day for me - I was scared and you could see it in my face all day long (I believe there are pictures to prove it somewhere). As the tandem class ended it started to rain and a bit of relief washed over me thinking that
I may not have to actually jump. Eventually the rain stopped, the clouds rolled out and vast amounts of blue dominated the sky. I ended up on the sunset load and all the extra waiting around just wore me out, by this
time I just wanted to get it over with so I could finally relax. Johnny Love was my TM and I promised him that if he got me on the ground safe I would name my first born after him. Of course I loved it - hopelessly addicted the
second I was in freefall. Guess it pays to confront your fears - you never know what doors will open when you do.

A few weeks later I somehow ended up at Quincy to make my second tandem during the WFFC. I entered AFP a few weeks after that and have been jumping ever since.  I don't see how I could ever stop - that is why my email
address is Chasing Blue Sky, because I will be doing that for as long as I can.
