My skydiving story:

A long long time ago in a far distant state, lived a little innocent sweet girl named Leemo. This little girl people called Leemo lived in East Troy working as a waitress at Roma Pizza, a restaurant the skydivers visited quite frequently. After getting to know the skydivers, Leemo was constantly being asked to make a skydive. Finally, after about a month of this she did it to make the crazy loud obnoxious skydivers shut up. But then they came back and continued to ask when she was going to make another.

Later that year, Leemo started to work at the drop zone and had a bet going with a guy in manifest that she would begin her AFF class and be finished with student status in a month. As weeks passed Leemo was flying through AFF and the week manifester quit..so she was out a free jump ticket.

Leemo continued to jump at Sky Knights worked in the office, manifest and whatever else needed to be done around the dropzone. In 2000 she served a term as a board member. Being a board member meant listening to everyone complain whine and bicker. Leemo saw past all of that and tried to hold her spirits up by not taking sides and trying to make the place fun. She organized 4-way scrambles, Christmas parties, just because parties and stayed very neutral with everyone up there. Till this one day she ventured on to bluer skies and found Skydive Chicago. At SDC she has found a whole different sky up there. She is now on a 4-way team and the 12/16-way team. She has made many new friends...so she thinks till the bill comes from them all in the mail. Leemo enjoys her new home and hopes to grow even more as a skydiver and a person. She would love to thank everyone for being so friendly and making skydiving fun!!
